Lab Assistant Katie Goff  

Lab Assistant Kathleen Goff prepares billets for epoxy treatment. Katie is a double major in Geoscience and Anthropology. She is currently involved in research projects investigating mantle processes reflected in the geochemistry of melt inclusions and peridotites.  :cool:


Sahale Casebolt, Graduate Student 

 Graduate Student Sahale Casebolt cleans up after lapping her samples. Sahale is a Master of Science candidate in Paleontology. Her research uses the SEM imaging of microstructures to examine homology in Carribean corals. :s:


Honors student Caitie Kuempel processing samples for her research   

Honors sudent Caitlin Kuempel prepares coral samples for morphometric analysis. Caitie is a double major in Environmental Science and French. She is also a member of the Rowing Team. Caitie presented her honors thesis examining the speciation of Carribean corals spring 2010. :grin:

 Myra Laird, Honors Student 

Alumnist Myra Laird. Myra graduated with honors in May 2010. In addition to being an honors student, she double majored in Geoscience and Anthropology. Myra’s honors thesis examined the speciation of Carribean corals using the morphomatric analysis of over 125 thin sections which she produced herself. :tu:
